Rita
Coolidge is a two-time Grammy winner and
multi-platinum selling artist who began her career in 1970. Throughout
her career, she has shared the stage with such legends as Eric
Clapton, George Harrison and Leon Russell to name a few. In
addition to her solo career, Rita is a member of Walela, an award
winning Native American vocal trio who performed at the 1996 and
2002 Olympics. Rita is deeply committed to the Native American
community and her Cherokee heritage. Recently, she was awarded
a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native American Music Awards.
